Adobe Helps Customers Launch Fast and Grow Faster With a 12-Part Webinar Series

We Showcased Both Sides of the B2B Technology Coin: Thought Leadership and Solutions

After a successful first season, the Adobe Commerce Accelerator Webinar Series came roaring back with a second season featuring six two-part episodes. Each episode contained a thought leadership part and a more technical part that showed off the software.

The first season of the series, under Magento Commerce branding, explored modern consumers and their needs. It explored how new technologies and business models were upending entire sectors, creating ongoing waves of disruption for every business — and it was a success with over 90% of attendees reporting that they found the series helpful. Season 2 was developed as a practical business roadmap, putting a spotlight on the Adobe Commerce tools that help organisations advance and adapt quickly.

A SERIES THAT EMPHASISES SIMPLICITY IN A SEA OF COMPLEXITY

Commerce, by nature, is full of complexities. Adobe Commerce’s target market includes commerce brands with varied product catalogues, working in multiple markets and using multiple currencies, and running on multiple sites and channels. The array of Adobe Commerce solutions is also complex, allowing enterprises with diverse needs to grow and optimise their performance. The aim of this series was to acknowledge the complexities of doing day-to-day business while highlighting solutions in a straightforward way.

CREATING A PRACTICAL BUSINESS ROADMAP

Sometimes, the best approach is to take it step by step. To encourage viewers to put their knowledge into action and drive business transformation — without feeling overwhelmed — the episode list was developed to reflect a step-by-step approach, moving through specific areas of the business that can be optimised with Adobe Commerce. The premier episode gave viewers a high-level look at Adobe Commerce. The second episode focused on increasing customer lifetime value among current customers, an easy yet valuable place to start for any existing business. The episodes moved forward through improving the checkout experience, reducing purchase friction, and keeping customers engaged via content. The season wraps up with a recap of the many key ways Adobe Commerce technology can help.

DESIGNED FOR ENGAGEMENT

No lectures found here! This series was designed for interactivity. Each episode of Season 2 contains two separate events, helping to separate thought leadership content from solution and demo content and preventing viewers from needing to digest too much information at once. Each part-one “webisode” was divided into sections, including introductions, learning objectives, theory and research presentations, case studies, and a coffee chat segment, followed by a live Q&A session and resource sharing. Each part-two “webisode” included introductions and learning objectives, a product demo or case study interview, and time for Q&A, giving viewers a chance to see Adobe Commerce features in action. Having a host, multiple speakers, and the coffee chat format made each episode lively.

Jessica Mizerak

Jessica Mizerak — B2B Content Producer

“With every single interaction I have with a new client, a whole new world opens up for me. I love learning, and I love contributing.”

Unlike most people, Jess’ first love was a language – Russian. Her fondness for languages brought her from the United States across the world to Europe, where she indulged in a novel world of language learning.

While living in Hungary, Jess started contemplating the possibility of becoming a writer. Serendipitously, she received a phone call from her friend with a full-time scriptwriting opportunity. After accepting the offer and working as a scriptwriter for two years, Jess experimented in other fields, yet kept writing in her life by freelancing during nights and weekends.

At one point, she worked at Antavo alongside e-commerce and omnichannel retailers that were creating and implementing new loyalty programs, which gave her the unique insight on B2B operations that she has today. After experiencing life across diverse professions, Jess realised that being a writer was her true calling, and returned to writing full-time.

Now as the go-to scriptwriter for webinars and videos at PaperplaneCo, Jess is also involved in the creative development for new series and projects. She loves meeting new clients, and every new project opens up a new world for Jess to explore.

Currently residing in Spain, Jess teaches an aerial hoop class once a week. In the future, Jess hopes to work on projects contributing to sustainability.

Chrissy Lim

Chrissy Lim — Creative Director

“I live for the flow. Time stands still and every stroke, every pixel nudge is inspired by a supernatural genius.”

In a world riddled with complexity, Chrissy Lim has the background and imagination to make sense of it all, traversing the realms of technology, business, and creativity. In a world of flux, she connects the dots. She has steered two of her start-ups into multi-million dollar successes, and directed the global ad accounts for brands like Johnson & Johnson, Coca-Cola and Mercedes-Benz.

Chrissy founded Paperplane to bring together the promise of creativity and technology to celebrate stories in an age of new media. The interplay of disciplines is where Chrissy thrives, and where the classic paper plane gains its charm: a humble sheet of paper transformed through engineering and imagination. Photographer, scuba diver, inveterate foodie, Chrissy carries it all off with child-like enthusiasm.

Monna Munoz

Monna Munoz — People and Operations

“Nothing is complicated. Break it down, prioritize, find efficiencies. When everything runs smoothly, there’s space for creativity and productivity.”

It takes courage to think differently, and Mona knows it. At age 5, this Richard Branson fan built a child-sized rocket from grocery cartons and duct tape. At 19, she dropped a promising nursing career to pursue her love of tech at an internet marketing firm—one she would soon come to lead. In 2016, Mona launched her own web development agency. With her “Just do it” mantra, Mona’s approach to work is singularly strategic and systematic.

Now Project Manager at PaperplaneCo, Mona goes out of her way to keep all stakeholders happy, juggling multiple projects and teams with enviable ease. Mom to a teenager and two snuggly cats, Mona enjoys long walks and keeping up with Elon Musk’s Mars project. Warning: With her unflaggingly upbeat attitude and ace organizational skills, Mona’s productive vibe can be contagious.

Demi Plettenburg

Demi Plettenburg — Account Manager

“Take a leap of faith – you will achieve beyond your imagination.”

Story-telling has been inseparable from Demi’s life: at the age of twenty-two, she had spent a year traveling from the south of Italy to the Scottish Highlands as a Junior Producer, taking words from a script and bringing them to life. After a tour around the Dutch film industry, Demi was yearning to put her skills to commercial use – she convinced her professors at University of Amsterdam to let her be the first ever student to study remotely, and flew from the Netherlands across continents to Singapore.

In Singapore, Demi worked at OneConnect Financial Technology, where she oversaw the redesign of the Customer Experience Center and managed video production, interior design, and walkthroughs for prospects. When the CEC later became a project for PaperplaneCo, Demi, utterly inspired by the PPCO team’s process of crafting compelling stories, knew she had to be a part of this creative team.

After receiving her degree in Digital Media, Demi is now the Account Manager at PaperplaneCo, where she ensures customer success in day-to-day client communication, and in projects that she oversees. Demi’s experience across fields has allowed her to experience a variety of perspectives first-hand, giving her the unique ability to empathise with clients and understand their needs. Outside of work, Demi is thoroughly enjoying her life in Singapore – the only way to make it even better would be getting a puppy!

Kassandra Marsh

Kassandra Marsh — Agency Print Production Quality Controller

“It is always super rewarding when I get to see the materials I’ve worked on ‘in the wild’.”

If it weren’t for a professor’s advice to use her graphic design experience in print, Kassandra might not be where she is today. Her experience working with paper and machines helped her to become a better document designer. After graduating with a degree in Computer-Based Art and Design from the University of the Sunshine Coast, Kassandra went on to design documents for clients like Hubspot, American Express, and the Australian Government.

Kassandra’s eagle eye and analytical, systems-focused mind, help her spot mistakes and improve the documents created at PaperplaneCo. She particularly enjoys working with educational materials and finds value in helping people pass along knowledge. Perhaps her love of education comes from her experience as an early childhood educator. Her five- and six-year-old students taught her a lot about balancing leadership and fun!

When she isn’t working remotely or traveling the globe, you can find her reading, enjoying jigsaw puzzles, doing cross stitch, gardening, or cooking.

PaperplaneCo surely does take your ideas to the next level. From a simple/basic thought, it grows into a world-class program that is cohesive, has a story to tell, and most importantly – works! We’ve been working with the PaperplaneCo team for over a year now on our webinar program in APAC. This has been a massive success in terms of engaging our audience and generating demand for Magento Commerce. I have even presented this webinar program at ON24’s conference in Sydney and the audience was very impressed not only with our content but also our creative. In this competitive industry, you need to stand out and be remembered and PaperplaneCo helped us do just that.
